Inflight Dublin

To be creative is to let the mind fly

I am currently working at Inflight Dublin. This opportunity has been a significant challenge, as it involves a market I had never worked in before. Years ago, I was a passenger, checking gate information on the panel, looking at my boarding pass, and taking flights for various trips. Suddenly, I found myself as part of the crew, contributing my ideas to the field of inflight entertainment.

Project Overview

This project aims to integrate the stages of creating and producing inflight entertainment.

​

We need to consider the IFD Business (Internal), B2B, and B2C aspects. This opportunity allows us to think creatively and produce innovative solutions, potentially making us one of the first inflight entertainment providers with such advanced technology and innovation.

User interview

We interviewed different groups, as each part of the project targets a distinct user profile:

1. Internal ( IFD Sales Team): The sales team creates proposals for each airline.

2. Clients: Some of IFD's best clients were interviewed.

3. Passengers: Regular passengers who have taken numerous flights were also included.

During these interviews, we assigned tasks to gather insights into both positive and negative experiences in their current processes for accessing data and content.

Diagnosis

It was understood the project has many variants and due to the complexity has been decided to divided into three parts:

1

INTERNAL

Create an internal interface for the company to fast develop inflight entertainment plans for the airlines.

2

CLIENT

Create an interface exclusive to the airlines, to give them the option to build and select the content they want.

3

PASSENGER

Create an exclusive layout for each airline, understand the user's needs, and culture, and  a unique and pleasant interaction experience.

2- Client

Understanding our clients is crucial. Providing clients with the option to select content allows them to be part of the process. For the first time, clients had access to multiple content options, including films, TV shows, music, podcasts, games, and more.

3 - Passenger

Once the airlines choose the content, passengers can enjoy everything selected for them in a practical and user-friendly manner. The video demonstrates the EVERHUB prototype, which we customize for each client to match their brand.
